Angelina Jolie has finally taken some time out from her hectic schedule to rubbish the claims of her retirement from Hollywood. Recently, there were several rumors about her early retirement hovering on the horizon, most prominently the claim made by Vanity Fair magazine that Jolie was considering quitting acting to devote her time to her roles as a mother and a humanitarian. However, Jolie clarifies that this claim has no bones.
Contactmusic quotes her as saying,
They (Vanity Fair editors) know how to sell a magazine. I simply said that in the years to come I???ll be doing less of acting and more of other things. It???s really not that interesting. It’s not that I’m retiring, but there will be less films at some point and I’d love to do other things. I’d love to live in Africa for six months and fly planes.
We believe you, Jolie. If you say less films, then yes, less films. If you say more kids, then yes, more kids. After all, you are still the Queen Bee of Hollywood, and retirement is just out of question for you. By the way, I’m looking forward to see you portray the evil Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty remake.
