Manmohan Singh has said the country needed a law to define the meaning of “criminal” – and who should or should not be a minister.
In July 2008 Washington Times reported that nearly a fourth of the 540 Indian Parliament memb, rapeers faced criminal charges, “including human trafficking, immigration rackets, embezzlement and even murder”.

I remember a case of philanderer Premananda in Trichy, who was tried for his sex scandals and the session judge awarded him a sentence of 60 years twice ie 120 years to undergo rigorous jail term. If the judicial system has an iron hand there is a hope that India would flourish just as China otherwise these of number of vile and morally reprehensible, who would do something as despicable as murder the naation itself. Are not these scandals ugly crimes,a national shame?
