Saturday was damn eventful for the newly wed couple Deryck Whibley and Avril Lavigne. In the presence of nearly 110 guests, both of them tied the knot at a private estate in Montecito, Calif. Guest included her closest of pals and relatives.
Avril, who slipped into a stunning Vera Wang gown for the wedding was carrying a white bouquet of flowers when she walked down the aisle by her father, John, to Mendelssohn’s ‘Wedding March.’
Before the reception, guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail party, a sit down dinner was organized under a tent on the estate. Theme for the wedding ceremony was pure white whereas the couple opted for ‘Red’ as the theme of the reception.
Avril and Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley were seeing each other from two years and got engaged last year.
