Seriously! American Idol needs to be banned in a hurry because it is fast turning into a weird platform where all sort of strange things are materializing from thin air. I think President Obama needs to revive his agenda of ‘change’ and include a special clause on American Idol… and propose a ban on it!
That Simon Cowell is using his chair just to vent his personal frustrations, is a well-known fact, but that’s not the only thing that’s going against the ethics of this show. Actually, the whole show has turned into a crap act. Instead of churning out idol citizens, American Idol is busy producing sensational news to promote its judges. But wait, I think the real culprit is someone else. Yes, its Paula Abdul and not the American Idol. Now let me make it easier for you to understand.
It was Paula Abdul who induced an obsessed fan to commit suicide in front of her house. It was Paula Abdul who turned a particular episode of American Idol into a cheap show by staging a walk-out during an audition. It was Paula Abdul who chose to go opposite to the spirit of the show by showing a cold attitude towards Kara DioGuardi, the fourth judge. And now, its again the same woman who is trying to hog all the limelight by stretching her cold war with Kara.
So, what’s your opinion? Ban American Idol or kick Paula out of the show? I think the second option is better because Paula herself has admitted that there are so many other things she wants to do (besides ruining American Idol!).
