The royal heir to the British monarchy, Prince William is going to marry his long time girl friend and fiancée Kate Middleton on April 29th, 2011 at Westminster Abbey. You need not worry if you do not have an invitation to this exciting wedding event as there is going to be a live footage of the proceedings in BBC. Hence, you can start your countdown to view this truly global event from the comforts of your home.

According to the Hollywood Reporter:

Anchored by Huw Edwards, one of the BBC’s most senior news presenters, BBC1’s Royal Wedding coverage will have exclusive access to vantage points along the route of the wedding, as well as a host of British experts, analysts and commentators on April 29th.

This wedding is different from the fairy tale wedding between Prince Charles and Late Princess Diana as there was no such live coverage or Internet power that time in 1981. We had to rely on magazines, tabloids, newspapers and news section in television to have a glimpse of those precious moments. That time it was termed as the ???Wedding of the Century???. Now, this wedding is going to be grander and would linger in our memories for years. With the widespread usage of Internet and cable networks, viewing this royal wedding and other nuptial proceedings would be much easier. We would also be able to get latest updates on the wedding through Internet.
