From the divorce papers filed in 2003 by the deceased wife of late Chris Benoit, it seems that the relation between them was violent and she was usually threatened by the WWE superstar. Nancy Benoit had also included a petition for protection from domestic violence against Chris. Nancy had also claimed that Benoit, ‘lost his temper and threatened to strike the petitioner and cause extensive damage to the home and personal belongings of the parties, including furniture.‘ After about three months Nancy filed to have the orders dismissed. As per the police, Chris strangled his wife first then choked his son and then hanged himself too.
Whatever the truth might be, it is always sad to see such an end. WWE will always miss the superstar. We will too!
