A whirlwind of rumours about Beyonce’s pregnancy have been making rounds. Beyonce unveiled the news on 28th August 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards . The pregnancy has been rumoured to be fake as the event was used to make the important announcement. Last weekend Beyonce made an appearance on the Sunday Night HD and when she was seen sitting, her baby bump seemed to form a creased line. This raised curiosities in the minds of the viewers and thus she was accused of carrying a prosthetic baby bump. A surrogate is said to be carrying the child of Beyonce and husband Jay-Z’s first child together.
The star is now under speculation and is being doubted of faking her pregnancy completely. There are many questions that are rising as to whether she is just trying to gain a different sort of glamorous motherhood publicity. Or whether she is trying to indulge in some dramatic stunts. She could have also gone a step ahead and pulled off something like Demi Moore or Britney Spears and featured on a magazine’s front page, flaunting her baby bump. Another possible conclusion that can be drawn is that she is just padding her baby bump to make it a little more dramatic and picture perfect. The need to near perfection with her pregnancy may have infused such ideas into her. It can also be completely fake and she could be imitating Terri Schuester’s artificial pregnancy from Glee.
According to an interview, she is due in February. Her midsection has been noticed to be collapsing after a thorough scrutiny was made of her various photos and videos in public interviews. The news is of a lot of importance and so a lot of scrutiny and involvement of media is expected. Beyonce’s pregnancy still remains in murky shadows and no one is able to throw any light on it. It can’t be concluded with full conviction that she is faking it and nor can the spculations be completely over ruled. If it is some publicity stunt then it has been executed the wrong way an the publicist should actually do her homework better. The execution of the stunt has also been messed up if you see it that way. The extra padding was completely unnecessary as it is doing just the opposite of what it has been expected to do and drawing more of speculations and interest towards that questionable bump.
Yvette Noel- Schure, Beyonce’s publicist, has however dismissed all rumours as false and insensible. We have to wait and see if this is a true or just another publicity stunt that celebrities often come up with.
