Fernando Flores kept his word by filing a lawsuit against Britney Spears yesterday, and here’s what Britney babe has to say about the accusations of his former bodyguard. A statement issued by Britney’s rep on her official website totally underplays the situation and dismisses Flores, who has filed a sexual harassment and child abuse lawsuit against Britney, as a fame seeker who is trying to make a story of his own and rake in some moolah.
Here’s the statement,
This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself. The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores’ accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts.
Well, it’s the first update and I’m sure there will be more statements coming soon from both the parties in a couple of days. As far as my belief is concerned, Britney is right and that former bodyguard is nothing but a freeloader who wants to encash his one-time proximity to the singer. All the best to you, Britney.
