There was a time when fashion industry did not have a place for the plus size women. Women had to be ultra thin in order to be termed as fashionable. It seemed fashion was meant for them only and the ones with the heavy body were sidelined. But but but… things are changing. Today fashion industry is giving fair chance to the heavier women who are known to be plus-size models. While cat-walking, they look smart, elegant and fashionable in every sense.
As far as health is concerned, size zero had its own disadvantages which will be not an issue for these plus-size models. Girls used to land up in trouble by starving themselves to look like models but now, their parents will be happier for sure.
They also have a belief that these women will be able to inspire size 12, 14 or 18 women while size zero models can inspire women with not more than size 3 or 4.
Do u think bringing plus-size models on ramp will bring a revolution in the fashion industry. Shall they replace size-zero models, or not? And Why?
