Brooke Mueller, who is being treated at a Los Angeles hospital for pneumonia in both lungs, is doing fine and responding well to medicine. She was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night with a 105-degree fever resulting from her impacted wisdom-tooth surgery and infection. Brooke is still in the ICU and is expected to remain there for a couple of days.
People quotes her mom Moira Fiore as saying,
Brooke came in at the very last minute because sepsis from an infection following surgery for her impacted wisdom tooth had invaded her system, and her organs were starting to shut down. Today her lungs, kidney and liver functions look better. But doctors are still worried about her low blood pressure.
Brooke’s husband Charlie Sheen, who has a protective order against him after a domestic-violence arrest on Christmas Day, paid a visit in the ICU today. Maybe this unfortunate event is just a blessing in disguise for this couple. Anyway, here’s wishing Brooke a speedy recovery and hoping that the couple will not waste this opportunity to realize just how much they love each other.
