Actress Brooke Shields recently revealed an incident, which gave her the scare of her life and made her more health-conscious. The beautiful actress discovered a spot on her face which turned out to be precancerous on further investigations by her doctor.
The 43-year-old actress told People that she got that removed and is doing fine but she considers it a wake-up call. People reports,
The Lipstick Jungle actress had the spot removed and says she’s doing “fine.” But the cancer scare served as a wake-up call for a woman who “used to think it was the best thing in the world to be baking in the sun” and who, as a teen, would indulge in hot-weather rituals like “baby oil and tinfoil and lemon in your hair.”
Well, I think this should serve as a wake-up call not only for Brooke but for all those babes who don’t think twice before doing things to enhance their physical appeal. Take note ladies, too much indulgence in the sun can be injurious to your health.
