Patrick Swayze has released a new photo of him, having a good time on his New Mexico ranch with wife Lisa Niemi and their dogs Lucas and Kumasai, to rubbish the rumors of his death.
Patrick’s rep released the photo along with a statement confirming that the actor is alive and the news of his death (as claimed by a Florida radio station) is totally false. Here’s the statement,
This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida. Patrick Swayze is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment.
What a sick world! A person has to prove that he’s alive by posting pics! This is the stuff that I hate about the media. I mean, they don’t exercise a little bit of responsibility while reporting such serious issues. I feel the officials responsible for this blunder should be booked under some serious charges so that this serves as a warning for others.
Meanwhile, the Ghost star, who is battling Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, is responding well to the treatment and is recovering fast. Though he appears quite thin in the new photo, his smile gives a clear message that he is a winner.
