It wasn’t the thing one would expect from the Hell’s Kitchen host, but celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay did exactly this during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (aired on 23 Feb). He was demonstrating how to slice vegetables for a stir fry when the misadventure left him with a bloody finger minus the nail.

Celebrity chef GORDON RAMSAY is nursing an injured finger after slicing off his nail during an appearance on ELLEN DEGENERES’ U.S. talk show . The Brit, who fronts his reality cookery show Hell’s Kitchen in the U.S. and U.K., was showing the comedienne-turned-TV presenter how to slice vegetables for a stir fry when his knife slipped, leaving him with blood dripping from the deep cut on his finger.
As Ramsay himself accepted after the incident, lack of concentration was the real culprit. And we cannot blame him for this, because I don’t think there exist a human who can concentrate on his own work when he’s on Ellen’s show! Anyway, here’s wishing Ramsay a speedy recovery.
