After the black listing of two Chinese companies by the U.S. officials for being involved in the tainted pet food scam, the Chinese officials will be utilizing mobile testing units which can check a whole good amount of food in just 30 minutes. Chinese government has also banned the sale of melamine and ordered inquiries on plant proteins such as wheat gluten and rice protein after the scam.Earlier, China detained the managers at the two firms after their confessions. All of the districts of Shanghai are being equipped with ‘food safety testing vehicles and personnel’.
