Their World Cup creation includes footballs of varying sizes, slogans and everything that relates to the Soccer World Cup, in chocolate. In a report to Reuters Goedele Matthysen said:
We have been especially creative ahead of the World Cup” Goedele Matthysen: We have designed various things, small footballs, bigger footballs. We do the actual balls, but we also have little chocolate plates displaying balls and some cheeky slogans. We have had many orders from hotels as well, who want some special bedtime sweet themed to go with football. The demand is very high indeed.
The couple is very excited of the ‘Cup’ itself which according to Matthysen will incorporate a great variety of innovation with white chocolate, whole milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Geodele says: The Cup itself is a great product, it incorporates white chocolate, whole milk chocolate and dark chocolate- it has been a big seller so far. Towards summer, that is even going to increase, I believe. People so far have been just thrilled with the product.
The Soccer-themed chocolates are sure to lure the Soccer fans and Matthysen and Bienstmann can be sure that there 15 year old business is sure to grow this world cup season.
