Cocaine found in the blood stream of Pete Doherty’s pet cat

‘Treat your pets the way you would treat yourself’ is a familiar phrase we often get to hear from pet lovers. But it seems the infamous musician Pete Doherty is more firm to the ground in this regards. Pete’s pet cat is out to prove that it is enjoying the same status as its owner.

I’ll explain the matter to you. Pete owns a pet cat called Dinger which recently gave birth to a litter of five kittens. And the story started when one of the kittens fell ill. As any caring pet owner would do, Pete took the ailing kitten for a visit to the vet. During the observation the vets found that the kitten was having traces of cocaine in its blood stream. The Daily Star quoted an RSPCA spokesman as saying,

It is a police matter, so we cannot deny or confirm the identity of the man who had this kitten removed. But it is very important to protect animals from substances that can do them serious harm.

We are all familiar with the erratic lifestyle of Pete Doherty, but this incident is much more than the regular gimmicks that Pete usually churns out.

I’m a die-hard cat lover and I wish that the poor kitten gets well soon. And as for Pete, I just feel sorry for that guy.
