It seems that late Anna Nicole Smith’s death mystery is soon going to be resolved. U.S. California authorities on Friday raided six locations including the offices and residences of two doctors who prescribed drugs for Anna Nicole Smith before her sudden demise in a Florida hotel room in February.

California Attorney General Jerry Brown told reporters, “The Department of Justice today served search warrants at various doctors’ offices, billing locations and residences in Los Angeles and Orange County.

The locations that were searched relate to doctors who prescribed medical treatment or prescribed drugs for Anna Nicole Smith or her associates.”

Brown revealed that eight warrants had been issued but no charges have been filed, and arrests had been made.

The former ‘Playboy’ model Anna Nicole Smith’s tragic death became a worldwide media sensation when she was dead due to accidental drug overdose on Feb. 8 this year in a hotel in Florida.

Brown refused to comment on what charges the doctors might face if it was determined they illegally prescribed drugs, but he do indicated a ‘serious crime’ might have been committed.
