Queen of Pop, Madonna is directing a new documentary that focuses on the poor and full of suffering lives of Malawi children. The documentary titled ‘I Am Because We Are’ has been premiered unpredictably during a Spirituality for Kids event at the Ilana Goor Museum in Old Jaffa, Israel.

A source told Drowned Madonna, “The documentary is very beautiful and touching.”

‘I Am Because We Are’ shows how AIDS effected Malawi children lives, since most of them lost their parents due to the AIDS disease and have to live on the streets.

The documentary also highlights the work that Madonna’s organization, Raising Malawi, has been doing in the country.

Rosie O’Donnell also disclosed on her blog that she had just attended a screening of Madonna’s ‘I Am Because We Are,’ stating that it was ‘devastating and amazing.’

Well, I must say this is a praiseworthy effort by Madonna. She’s working for a good cause.
