Anna Nicole Smith’s mother and ex-boyfriend were disappointed by a Bahamian court as the court closed hearing in the custody dispute over Smith’s baby daughter without any definite resolution.
Larry Birkhead, the infant’s biological father and Playboy playmate’s former boyfriend, was hoping to leave Bahamas soon, but now he cannot, as the decision is still pending. The next hearing is fixed for Wednesday.
All those participating in the legal proceedings are banned from discussing details of the case. After an hour long proceeding, all that Birkhead said to the reporters was:
On my behalf, everything went well. I’m moving toward starting a life with my daughter outside of the Bahamas.
Arthur – Smith’s mother, denied any comments.
Birkhead and Arthur are trying to agree on a common visitation agreement that would end the legal battle for custody of Dannielynn, who will inherit a fortune from the estate of her deceased mother, who died of a drug overdose.
The baby as of now is staying with Stern, Smith’s partner, who was listed on the birth certificate as her father. However, Birkhead is regularly visiting the baby to develop an acquaintance with the kid.
