Dancing queen and boxing champ Laila Ali and retired NFL star Curtis Conway are married! The couple wed in a top-secret ceremony, with her superstar father in attendance Sunday in Los Angeles, Ali’s rep confirmed it to PEOPLE.
The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ finalist and former football player Curtis Conway tied knot in front of 200 guests at 4:55 p.m. under a gazebo outside the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey. Ali’s wedding took place in presence of her both the parents, superstar father Muhammad Ali and Veronica Porsche Anderson, along with her sister Hana Ali, and Conway’s 12-year-old twin sons from a former relationship, Kelton and Cameron. The twin boys served as ringbearers for the ceremony, while Conway’s eight-year-old daughter Leilani took part as the flowergirl.
The blushing bride walked down the aisle in a champagne-colored strapless silk gown designed by Amy Michelson. Wedding planner Juliet Ryan says,
Laila’s approach to the wedding was simple but elegant. There were no lions and tigers and bears. It was about the love.
The couple first met two years ago in a small bet together hosted by Conway at his apartment, which Ali attended with a friend.
Conway told PEOPLE in May,
