‘Dancing With The Stars’ taking its toll on Heather Mills

heathermills 2263Heather Mills’ chances in the US dance show ‘Dancing With The Stars’ are getting dimmer with each passing day, as she has pulled out of the regular practice sessions for the show.

Mills, 39, is experiencing severe back problems and she is almost struggling to continue in the show. The back problem has restricted Mills practice session to three hours a week, while the rest of the participants rehearse for nearly 40 hours.

The two metal plates implanted in her pelvis following an accident in 1993 are making the practice routines nearly impossible, casting a doubt on Mills run for the dancing glory. Mills said:

I rehearsed for only three hours last week because my pelvis was really hurting. I thought I can push myself to a degree where my pelvis starts causing huge problems or I can take it easy. I decided against pushing too hard so I could only do three hours. Thankfully when we were training for the show, before it started, we learned the routines for the first two weeks so I had already learned most of the mambo. But I doubt I’ll stay in the show that long.

But one has to admire the lady for her determination. She is already a winner by participating in the dance show with her prosthetic leg. Prior to the show, her fake leg was in the news and even generated a betting on an online gambling site, whether it would fall of. But Mills is confident that it will stay on, as she has strapped it on with a special sleeve.

The show began on March 19 and every week the weakest contestant will be voted off. But I feel Mills is a pretty tough contestant and she will hold on.
