So it seems like buy one get two free kind of cheap deal. New Bond Daniel Craig is almost working for peanuts; he is not being paid half of what his predecessors were paid. May be that’s the thing producers love the most about him and have signed him for two more James Bond movies.
Several reports claims that Pierce Brosnan was fired by bosses after he asked £22 million to appear in ‘Casino Royale’ whereas Daniel agreed to star in the movie for just £1.5 million. He would be paid £3 million for the second film and he may get £4 million or £4.5 million for the third Bond he would star in.
However, I don’t understand one thing, how the Bond team can risk their three ventures by signing that flat faced, dumb and cheap actor. Daniel said sometime ago, his greatest worry at the moment is the hatred of Bond fans for him. They even started off a website just to express their disliking for him. Daniel is trying really hard to convince Bond admirers not to make the decision in advance and at least see his performance once.
Whatever, I can clearly see three consecutive Bond flicks sinking.
