Rocker Dave Matthews’ new born son, August has already learnt the lesson of environmental protection. The infant wears only reusable cloth diapers instead of the disposable ones.
Dave was quoted saying,
We use cloth diapers for our new baby because I think diapers might be the No. 3 piece of garbage [in terms of environmental damage]. So, if you have a little cloth diaper service nearby, that’s good.
August Oliver Matthews, a brother to the five year old twin sisters Stella Busina and Grace Anne is the third kid of the musician and his wife Ashley Harper. The boy was born at the family’s home in Seattle on June 19. The pregnancy was publicly confirmed to PEOPLE magazine in the month of February.
An environment conscious Matthews performed with his band performed on Saturday at Giants Stadium in New Jersey as part of the worldwide Live Earth event, held for the cause of global warming.
Such efforts of celebrities should serve as an eye opener for the common man, who should also put in efforts for environmental conservation.
