After ‘Titanic’, the highest-grossing flick of all time, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet will again be spotted together. The stars have signed Revolutionary Road, a drama based on postwar disillusionment.
To be directed by British filmmaker and Winslet’s hubby, Sam Mendes, the movie will spin around a suburban couple trapped amid their hopes for a life of art, culture and sophistication and the everyday drudgery of boring jobs and domesticity. Sam got an idea of making a film on this concept after going through the 1961 novel and masterpiece by Richard Yates by the same name. The director has bagged an Oscar for directing ‘American Beauty’.
DiCaprio and Winslet were not seen together after ‘Titanic’, wherein they played ill-fated lovers. A lower-class character got smitten by an aristocratic socialite on the ship that sank in the freezing North Atlantic Ocean in 1912.
Let’s see, what the twosome crops up this time as! Will they smash another hit or just an ordinary movie?
