Dr. Dolittle, Eddie Murphy has planned to begin a new innings with Tracey Edmonds, his girlfriend of 10 months. Father of four, Eddie, 46, proposed Tracey in a very romantic way by 8-carat Carter yellow diamond engagement ring on July 25.
The couple has plans to wed before the end of the year in a private ceremony. A close pal of the duo said after the engagement:
They’re very adorable together, very happy.
Tracey, 40, is the former wife of singer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. Eddie Murphy had been married to Nicole Mitchell but two separated after 12 years of marriage in 2006, and have five children together. After that he began courting Melanie Brown. Later, as the relationship progressed Mel B got pregnant in 2006, and claimed Murphy to be the child’s father, however Murphy never accepted this.
When baby girl, Angel Iris Murphy Brown was born to Mel B on April 3, 2007 then also Murphy did not accept her as his own child. This led Mel B to go for a DNA testing. The test results confirmed Murphy as the father of her baby girl.
