Rapper Eminem is planning to raise money by selling off eight sets of footwear he has designed especially for an auction. He has collaborated with Nike Inc. and has come up with a limited edition of Air Max sneakers. Eminem’s reinterpretation of the upper has been laid onto the original blueprints for every Air Max shoe to create unmatched design.
The sneakers that are autographed by Eminem will be put on auction on eBay and at Nike stores in Berlin, Paris and London, over a four-week period. The auction will start off from September 12.
Proceedings from the auction would be given away to Eminem’s Marshall Mathers Foundation, which supports organizations working with troubled youth in southeast Michigan and ninemillion.org, the campaign aimed at providing education and sports facilities to children in refugee camps throughout the globe.
Eminem says, who doesn’t want his own line of Nikes, so he immediately accepted their offer. Above all he always looks forwards to new ways of raising money for charity.
