If you are to write down the necessary ingredient that goes into the making of a diva, the result would emerge as a very familiar name – Leona Lewis. The gorgeous X Factor winner looks every bit a Diva that judge Simon Cowell wanted her to be.
During a recent photoshoot in LA, to promote her forthcoming single Bleeding Love, the 22-year-old was looking astonishingly beautiful. She was draped in a chartreuse green silk gown and chose to tread barefeet. Her photogenic face looked as if the beauty has just descended from the heaven.
Leona, who won the show last year as a favorite, became an overnight sensation with her cover of the Kelly Clarkson hit, ‘A Moment Like This’. The current issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine shows her modelling dresses by renowned designers like Roberto Cavalli and Dolce and Gabbana.
Meanwhile, the beautiful singer is unaffected by the hype surrounding her and plays down the whole affair in her humble words. She said:
I’ll never change my personality no matter what happens to me or what I’m surrounded by. I’ll never be a diva, I’ll always stay true to my east London roots.
With her feet firmly on the ground, Leona is waiting patiently for the release of her new single which will be followed by the album which is expected to be released on November 5 in the UK and early 2008 in the US.
