Crimewatch presenter Rev Wilding seems to have rubbed his employers at BBC on the wrong side; this time, with his love antics. The 33-old ex-cop was seen with his girlfriend Celebrity Big Brother fame Chantelle Houghton in parks and matches, cuddling each other in the white vests. After the whirlwind of seemingly picture perfect romance, Rev dumped his six months old girlfriend on the social networking site Twitter stating,???The relationship wasn???t the genuine thing.???

However, what seems to have infuriated the BBC corporation chiefs were the pictures of the duo arguing fiercely in the south London park. The corporation chiefs are not very amused by the spat between the two in a public place keeping in mind that Crimewatch is a show of very serious nature. Hence, Rev was asked to go on a holiday and sort things out.

As reported by Mirror,

For many executives, Crimewatch is the BBC???s flagship serious show, so they weren???t thrilled with his choice of girlfriend.
Bosses were even less impressed when they started doing Mills & Boon-esque glossy magazine shoots, declaring their love ??? hardly in keeping with the Crimewatch ethos.

Rev had resigned from the police force in February 2008 to concentrate on his TV career and has been successful with shows like The Weakest Link and Ready Steady Cook. However, Crime Watch has given the real boost to his career. For now, the cop needs to watch out his steps as treading on the fine lines can cost him heavily on his career.
