Tuesday was another fateful day for this former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen, as he lost the sole custodial battle of his two year-old sons to his former wife Brooke Mueller. This is just another hard blow for the actor whose life is going through a whirlwind phase for quite some time.
As reported by the celebrity news website TMZ.com, this estranged couple spent about two long hours behind closed doors in Los Angeles court where Mueller won the primary physical custody of their young children.
Sheen and Mueller got separated earlier this year after a case of drunken harassment was lodged against the actor in December 2009, where he reportedly assaulted his wife in an inebriated state. Lawyers of Sheen, 45, argued a lot against Muller and tried to prove that she is not physically fit to take care of their children as she relapsed in the recent past after repeated trips to rehab center for drug and alcohol abuse. However, the judge ruled out their arguments and adhered to his decision of giving the primary custody to Mueller.
Both Mueller and Sheen kept mum after their appearance outside the court room but Mueller showed her happiness by showing a thumbs-up sign to everyone as reported by, E! Online whereas Sheen left the courtroom quietly for Washington D.C to appear in his one-man Violent Torpedo Of Truth show on the following night.
