Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney took a break from his humanitarian work for third world refugees and decided to flatter his British fans with a whirlwind 24-hour long socializing stunt.
The UN Messenger of Peace, however could not completely overlook the cause he???s chosen to champion, and decided to call on Gordon and Sarah Brown at 10, Downing Street despite having stayed up rather late hanging out with old friend Mariella Frostrup. Clooney later commended the British Prime Minister for his support in bringing stability to Darfur, describing Mr. Brown as being ???amazingly helpful.???
Next on the agenda was a lighthearted outing with his Leatherheads co-star Renee Zellweger, to celebrate the warm reception their latest venture had received at its London premier last night.
Monday evening saw Clooney rocking being a guest of honor at a bash thrown by Harper’s Bazaar editor Lucy Yeomans. The night was made even more interesting by the divine presence of Jemima Khan and her delightful set of, er, mind. Ms. Khan had also been at the Frostrup do the previous evening, and if rumors are to be believed, was also invited to join George and four other friends for a late night party at the 46-year-old actor suite in Dorchester.
