Mona Pruthi’s childhood dream turned in to reality as she managed to top the Civil Service Examination this year.
Mona who was currently working as an Indian Revenue Service officer, had been training to be a customs officer and has now got the 1st rank in the results.
A quick look at the result revealed that this time women have surpassed men. The first two rank holders of the UPSC’s civil services examinations are women. There are five other girls among the top 20 candidates in the results.
Despite the fact that Faridabad’s Mona Pruthi is the topper, Gurneet Tej, a resident of Sahibabad in UP, has come second and closely chasing them in results is Archana Nair, at number 7, a management trainee at the Gurgaon branch of American Express.
