Supermodel Heidi Klum can do much more than just pose for cams and sport multiple Milk Mustaches. She’s in news this time for suing an out-of-work German butcher who used her photo in an ad for a dance. The butcher ended up getting slammed with a fine of £2,000 and Heidi ended up attracting some harsh criticisms.
Now, I would have easily skipped this bit because Heidi happens to be the brightest star on the galaxy of my favorites, but I’m an honest soul and my heart never interferes with the proceedings of my mind. Anyway, the thing is that 45-year-old Heinz Frank, who is a jobless butcher, downloaded an image of Heidi from the internet and used it on the advertising leaflets. Heidi’s lawyers responded with lightning speed and Frank ended up with a fine and a cease-and desist order by a court. The best part is, Frank had no idea who she was!
German actress and socialite Jenny Elvers Elbertzhagen, who eventually stepped in to pay the fine for Frank, sums up the German anger in the following words,
He didn’t know it was her and didn’t make any money. So I really don’t understand why she’s got so heated over such a trifle.
Well, this is not a cool thing for someone like Heidi. I never expected her to be such a heartless person. Maybe it was the work of her lawyers and she is just out of this whole game. I wish she proves me right because If she fails to do it then my mind and heart will bleed each other to death. And I don’t want that to happen.
