It apparently had to happen. When Faye Dunaway belittled Hilary Duff last week, little did she realized that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. And her ugly remark attracted an equally ugly and speedy backlash from Hilary.
Last week, Faye stunned all when she was asked about her reaction on Hilary Duff playing Bonnie in the remake of Bonnie and Clyde. She had said,
Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?
Clearly offended by Faye’s remark, Hilary has come up with a sucker punch which goes like this,
I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know???. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.
It seems like the battle of the Bonnies has begun. Faye, who played Bonnie in the 1967 movie, and Hilary, who is playing Bonnie in the upcoming movie, The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, are miles apart in every aspect and the only common thing between them is the character of Bonnie. Now we’ll sit patiently and watch as both the Bonnies collide with each other.
I place my bet on Hilary because I’m confident that she’ll pin down Faye easily. Agreed that Faye is a legend and is incomparable but her comment was just too bad. And I don’t like people who belittle others.
