This is for those who are dying to see baby Suri. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes didn’t reveal her pictures but TMZ has obtained a copy of her birth certificate, which was filed on 8 May with Los Angeles County Register-Recorder/County Clerk.
The document is an interesting example of how celebs play with law sometimes. According to St. John’s Hospital’s policy, birth certificates should be filed within ten days of the birth, whereas Suri’s birth certificate was filed 20 days later. Suri was born on April 18.
Hospital rep says that the certificate needs a sign of baby’s parents or representative but nobody turned up from TomKat’s side until 4 May. The person who signed the certificate is labeled as ‘Friend’, and the signature is not legible.
Anne Heffernan, RNC, ‘Attendant or Certifier’ who signed the certificate was not present in the delivery room and didn’t see the baby. Hospital rep says that Heffernan is authorized to sign the certificate when doctor is not around.
