Jaslene Gonzalez, the current winner of America’s Next top Model revealed that an abusive relation almost left her lost and unconfident. Jaslene, who is 21 said, ‘Before I got into that relationship, I had a good head on my shoulders and walked with my head up high. But during that relationship, things went down little by little. It was such a dark moment in my life. It was horrible!‘
She also said that she was in a very bad condition and gave up mentally. But she is now happy that she overcame and went on to achieve her goals. As a part of her winnings, she gets a contract with Elite modeling agency, a $100,000 deal with CoverGirl and also appears on the cover and in a six-page fashion and beauty layout in the magazine.
She also said, ‘I can give so much advice, but it starts within yourself. You need to get help. Talk to somebody, because once you talk about it, you hear it, and then you understand what you’re going through. That’s what it took for me to let go.”
She credits The Top Model for giving her all her confidence back.
