For not paying its brokerage, her former management company Handprint Management has sued American actress and singer Jennifer Love Hewitt for $350,000.

The lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles County Superior Court alleges that the ‘The Ghost Whisperer’ actress did not pay the company its brokerage for getting her the meaty role in the hit series. `Ghost Whisperer’ is an American television drama-fantasy-thriller revolving around a young woman, played by Hewitt, who can establish communicate with the spirits.

Handprint insists that the role of Melinda Gordon has helped the actress with her dwindling career and brought her ‘back to national prominence as a television star’.

The company alleges that the 28-year-old actress who had paid for the first season has denied paying for the second season of the show. The actress had terminated her ties with the company in March 2005.
