Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe is the latest celebrity to check into rehab.
His girl friend Nadine Coyle, Girls Aloud singer, who was totally smitten by him and had earlier described him as ‘the most amazing guy in the world’ was shocked after the actor entered rehab after four days of binge drinking.
Coyle, 21, was spending an increasing amount of time in Los Angeles to be in the company of beau and was even planning to permanently relocate to US with her entire Derry-based family.
Metcalfe, who famously played the character of a teenage gardener who seduced Eva Longoria’s character Gabrielle Solis in the popular TV series was spotted at four different clubs throughout Saturday evening. The actor was banned from the Mondrian Hotel as he misbehaved with the hotel staff and shouted at the doorman as he refused to let him in.
It was love at first sight for the couple who met in Australia for the first time. The two were even known to flying frequently between London and LA to spend time with each other. To get the two close, Coyle’s father was eager to shift to US and start an Irish Bar.
