Johnny Cash‘s first wife, Vivian Liberto Distin wrote a book based on his thousands of love letters before she died last year. Now the book will be published soon and it’s being said that it will unveil the real Johnny Cash.
He wrote these letters during his posting in Germany as a radio intercept operator with US Air Force. Ann Sharpsteen who is the co writer of the book said that these letters reveals everything about him including his loyalty, fears, dreams, faith, alcohol everything. It feels like as if you are reading somebody’s personal diary.
Distin’s daughter, Kathy Cash has seriously criticized Walk The Line, based on Johnny Cash’s life story which claimed several awards and loads of appreciation lately. The movie portrays her mother as a mad psycho, but obviously Kathy is agitated with it.
