Julia Roberts and Chris Owen are all set to team up in the Universal Pictures drama ‘Duplicity’. The story and direction is by Tony Gilroy and Jennifer Fox is co-producing the movie with Laura Bickford. This is the second movie after Mike- Nichols directed movie- ‘closer’ that these two actors have teamed up with each other. In Closer, Julia and Chris play a couple who have a clash over Julia’s infidelity.
Duplicity gives them another chance to show their on-screen chemistry. Duplicity is a story about two people who work as spies on opposite sites. They team up to ‘rip off’ corporations and steal a valuable product.
The movie is slated to start in March next year and is Tony Wilson’s second stint with direction after ‘Michael Clayton’, which starred George Clooney. Tony is also accredited to have written the blockbuster movie- Bourne Identity.
Roberts will be seen next in ‘Charlie Wilson’s War’ where she stages the stage with Tom Hanks and Phillip Hoffman. Owen is also fresh in Elizabeth- The Golden Age.
