Yesterday I reported that Kanye West’s monther, Dr. Donda West, passed away Saturday night, November 10, in Los Angeles, of unknown causes. Now BBC is reporting that Dr. Donda West’s death may have been caused by complications during an unknown surgical procedure.
A BBC report quotes Dr. West’s publicist Patricia Green, as saying her death was “the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure.”
Dr. West, who managed the star’s businesses and educational foundation and was the subject of his song Hey Mama was also the former chairwoman of the English department at Chicago State University where she had worked since 1980.
