After Kolaveri Di’s grand success and much hoopla everywhere around, the singing sensation behind the amusing composition, Dhanush, has come up with an all new gloom of his persona and that is “Acting”!
Reports confirm that the talented vocalist will star opposite the fashionista herself, Sonam Kapoor, in a movie titled “Raanjhana”. The movie is directed by Aanand L Rai of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. Dhanush plays a Varanasi boy and Sonam plays a girl from Varanasi, who studies at JNU Campus, Delhi. The movie features the duo as a romantic couple and the story revolves around their love interest.
Sources associated with the film claimed Sonam as the best possible choice for the film. She is even planning to learn the ‘Delhi accent’. Whereas Dhanush is no step behind, and is also scheduled to undergo diction classes for the same.
At first, the director of the film was not sure of Sonam’s role in the film but after a meeting, he was convinced and quoted ““I am bowled over by her commitment to get the nuances of the role right. I’ve found my lady”.
The film is expected to be a romantic entertainer with fine performances by the Bollywood debutant Dhanush and the vivacious Sonam Kapoor.
