For all the fans of sensational pop singer Kylie Minogue, who have stood by her during probably one of her worst phases in life, news has it that the lady bursted out in tears at the premier of her docu-movie ‘White Diamond’. Kylie who has had a rough time ever since she was diagnosed with breast cancer, had managed to battle her way into the pop music arena.
At the premier of her movie in London’s Leicester Square, Kylie could not stop her tears and she was caught in emotions. Along with her ‘gay husband’ William Baker and little sister Dannii also shed some tears reliving the moments of pain and joy in Kylie’s life so far.
The movie showed for the first time on big screen, her fight back from the deadly breast cancer which made the entire contingent and Kylie herself emotional.
The movie which lasted for couple of hours brought about mixed emotions in Kylie who was seated at the back while the premier was on. It showed her in a great jovial mood as well as sunk in emotions at times. For this special occassion Kylie was wearing a Dolce & Gabbana satin cream gown sprinkled with £500,000 of Swarovski crystals, which made her look stunning as ever. The sensational star said,
I didn’t know if I’d make it through that screening, it was very emotional making the documentary and even more so watching it.It wasn’t my idea, it was William Baker’s. I canned it five times before this. I was hoodwinked basically because I really tried to get out of it. But he said, ‘This is who you are and we all love you for who you are’There was a time when I’d been stripped of everything and depended on nothing, and I felt like I had everything in terms of love and support, and I think that had a lot to do with me agreeing to this.
She added on the overwhelming response from the crowd outside the venue and her love status,
I said to Willie in the car, ‘What if there are only six people here’, but I’m overwhelmed. These people have been so patient, not just tonight but for a long time and they’ve given me a lot of support on my road to recovery. There’s always a call to the office saying, ‘Who’s she with? And my manager’s like, ‘Are you sure you’re not with anyone?’, and I’m like, ‘No but if you can get me someone that’d be great’
With joy and adulation, Kylie and sister Dannii held a part post the premier at Movida where the the pop star ordered about 100 white roses and white lillies. Her emotions surel have no bounds at this moment.
For her admirers though, the movie will be screened in only few selected theatres until it hits the DVD stands. So for all those awaiting to hear from the horse’s mouth itself, a wait is asked for in return till the release of her docu-movie ‘White Diamond’. As far as the title is concerned Kylie surely seems to be having a huge connection with white like her flowers and diamond like that on her dress. Hopefully though for her and her closed ones life from here on should be back into a healthy track.
