When big names in Hollywood like Leonardo DiCaprio and Vinnie Jones team up together for a movie, we surely can expect cinematic bliss. After starring together with legendary stars like Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in ‘Righteous Kill’, Leo will join forces with Vinnie Jones for a historical epic feature titled ‘Freedom Within the Heart’.
DiCaprio will be playing Brian Boru, the last undisputed High King of Ireland, the King who leads his people towards freedom against the marauding Vikings. Vinnie Jones will play DiCaprio’s nemesis, Ivor of Limerick. Written by Mark Mahon, the movie will be a classic Irish vs Vikings challenge.
The movie will be picturized in Ireland once the board accepts the bid for the production to shoot in the village of Tuamgraney in County Clare. The movie starring the superstars Leonardo DiCaprio and Vinnie Jones should be out by 2008 where the movie also hopes to boost Irish tourism in similar fashion movies like ‘Braveheart’ did.
We have seen some classic historical movies from the Hollywood greats over the past few years. With movies like Gladiator, Troy etc ‘Freedom Within the Heart’ will be much awaited by cine goers across the globe and more so by admirers of sensational Leonardo DiCaprio and Vinnie Jones.
