We’ve grown tired of seeing celebrities having all kinds of opportunistic people around them; claiming to be their best friends but with the sole intention of feeding on their fame and money. For a change, we now have a celebrity who indeed cares for her friend and who genuinely is trying to make a positive impact on her life. The celebrity in trouble here is Lindsay Lohan and the friend who is trying to help her out is none other than Samantha Ronson, the daughter of writer Ann Dexter-Jones and band manager Laurence Ronson. Samantha has now practically moved in into Lilo’s Los Angeles home in a bid to keep her away from drugs. Only time will tell how effective this strategy is. Meanwhile, Samantha gets our thumbs up just for the fact that she has stepped in to save her friend from becoming another Britney Spears or Amy Winehouse. Way to go girl.
