Although her representative has nothing to say on that but it is the fact that these celebrities actually demand for so much of money for these commercials. The manufacturer pays just because of the popularity and sale of the product through the name and fame of these stars.
Being paid such a heavy amount for just a small commercial will definitely make Madonna the highest paid star of the year too. The commercial is of 30 seconds and shows images of Madonna, Shakira and Marilyn Monroe. I hope Shakira knows about the financial deal of Madonna for the advertisement.
