After a long time, Madonna has angered the religious types again. Recently, just to excite her audiences she performed while being crucified on a mirrored cross during her concert on Sunday in Los Angeles. She even wore a crown of thorns. Catholic League is calling her opening act ‘pathetic’.
Bill Donohue, president Catholic League, said that Madonna has been spicing up her performances with Christian imagery from long. He thought that her devotion for Kabbalah might spark off new respect for the religion in her mind.
No statement has come up from Madonna’s side. At least Madonna can still take on the system.
