Imagine someone imagining his taking part in a documentary. But, after everything is done, he realizes that he acted in a movie instead! It might sound a bit weird, but this is exactly what Michael Psenicska a driving instructor claims to have happened to him. Mr. Psenicska claims that he was duped by the famous filmmakers, 20 th Century Fox, for acting in the 2006 comedy ‘Borat’.

The high school mathematics teacher who also owns a driving school has sued actor Sacha Baron Cohen, 20 th Century Fox and other parties to pay him $400,000 in damage.

However, the production house said that Mr. Psenicska from Baltimore had been paid for his involvement in the film and he had given his consent to be filmed. Mr. Psenicska denied all claims made by the film’s producers and in his suit filed before the Manhattan federal court said that he thought the film was a documentary about the integration of foreign people into the American way of life.

The film shows how Mr. Psenicska struggled to control his pupil played by Cohen, who drives erratically, drinks alcohol and yells at pedestrians. Psenicska said that he was paid just $500 for his role in the film and was made to sign on papers without allowing him to read them.

‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’ has made $260 worldwide before DVD sales. The films has few other suits pending against it, one is by a Romanian villager and other by college fraternity members, who dislike the way they have been depicted in the movie.
