The popular show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! took an interesting turn with contestant Marc Bannerman being evicted. It has shocked the other members and increased the tension in the camp manifold. To add fuel to the fire, contestant Janice Dickinson blamed it on fellow contestant and supermodel left Catatonia front-woman Cerys Cerys Matthews, making it all too clear that the budding romance between Marc and Cerys and the explicit expression of it on screen (namely, being in the hammock together and hugging in the jungle) was the reason why Marc was booted out.
Cerys, however, denied this saying that she would never behave in any derogatory way with somebody else’s boyfriend.
The ‘somebody’, by the way, is actress Sarah Matravers (32). A shell-shocked Sarah has been known to have fled from Australia and come to London, where she shares a home together with Marc. She was spotted at Heathrow, clearly upset, being supported by a friend. She said on ITV: “It’s been extremely painful to watch the man I love disrespecting me and our two and a half year relationship in front of the nation with a woman he’s known for a week. She further added that she’d love to forgive him but was much too confused at the moment.
Any suspected trace of rumor was removed by Marc himself, when he tearfully admitted being “in love with two women”, one of them, of course, being fellow-contestant Cerys. When asked if she feels the same way, he said: “Yes. I think she’s in love with me too.”
The 34-year-old actor did express regret at having hurt his current girlfriend, but also mentioned that by the time he realized his friendship with Cerys was moving in other directions, it was too late.
Meanwhile, Cerys and Gemma Atkinson were chosen to perform Thursday’s task, this being Cerys’ first. Cerys is happy to have something to keep her distracted from the disturbing episode concerning Marc.
