She’s the latest one to hop over and join the adoption-brigade. I’m talking about Mary-Louise Parker, the gorgeous star of Weeds, the much-loved TV series.
According to her representatives, the 43-year-old has adopted a baby girl from Africa. She was spotted with her newly-adopted daughter as the traveled for the Emmys on Sunday, where Parker got a double nomination.
Parker, who knows how to play the role of a mother to perfection, is said to be very happy over her new accomplishment. A source said:
Mary-Louise is such an incredible mom. She couldn’t be happier about this.
Parker also has a 3-year-old son, William Atticus Parker, with actor Billy Crudup. The couple stayed together for seven years but split when Parker was seven month pregnant with the baby. Parker is currently attached to her former Weeds co-star, Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
