Megan Collins, aged 16 was declared the winner of the 5th annual ‘So You Want to Be a Model’ competition. The competition is being held by CosmoGirl magazine in collaboration with New York Model Management. The contest had some 20,000 enrollments. Megan enrolled in the contest because of Ron Randell, her Baton Rouge agent.
Collins, surprised on her winning said,
‘It’s shocking. I’m still soaking it all up. It’s unreal. I’ve learned a lot more about the industry and how crazy and unpredictable it is. In my photo albums, I’d always be putting on makeup or designing an outfit or putting together different things.’
Now, Collins has many big brand assignments to her name. Megan started at a small local modeling agency. Ron discovered her talent and gave her the international exposure needed. He also made her appear in Cosmopolitan magazine. Congratulation Megan!
